On July 15th, 2026, at around 5:25pm, a caller reported they were assaulted in the parking lot of Ocean State Job Lot, and that the suspect displayed a firearm. Several SPD units immediately responded to the area. Upon arrival he suspect was still on scene sitting in his vehicle. Officers drew their firearms and instructed the suspect to exit the vehicle. The suspect cooperated and exited the vehicle. Officers on scene interviewed the suspect, victims and witnesses. Following the  investigation, the suspect was arrested.
