At approximately 6:22 PM, Salem Police were dispatched after a caller reported three males with hoods over their heads crawling through windows of a blue building across from a dealership.

The witness continued watching the suspects and providing updates to dispatch as officers responded to the area.

When units arrived the suspects ran out the back of the building, but responding officers apprehended them.

Three suspects were taken into custody.

Police located suspected vehicles behind the older dealership building across the street.

Officers inspected the building and reported the dealership showed signs of forced entry.

Detectives arrived on scene, and the vehicles believed to be connected to the incident were towed to the station as part of the investigation.

A huge shout out to the witness, Shawn Mustapha, CEO of S&M Investigations and Security LLC, who was driving by and noticed the suspicious activity. He turned around, parked across the street, and monitored the suspects while staying on the phone with dispatch.
